작년 12월 : 당시 다니던 회사에서 낙찰된 용역 중에서 모 국방기관 소개 동영상 단편 7편을 시나리오 작가/편집/감독 3개 역할을 수행하면서 성공적으로 납품하다. 이 때 정동희 미디어를 종합적으로 보는 시각이 대폭 스킬 향상되다
올해 2월 : 당시 다니던 회사에서 낙찰된 용역 중에서 금천구 소재 38개 학교 신학기 교과서 각 반에 배포하는 과업을 현장 책임자로 현장에서 일하면서 교육기관 현 주소를 몸으로 신랄하게 체험하다. 이 때 책임자이지만 현장 노동 많이 한 게 원인이 되어 왼쪽 어깨가 한 달 뒤부터 불편하여 6월에는 병원도 여러 번 다녔으나 지금도 불편하다
올해 3월 : 6월 전국지방동시선거 관련하여 국민의힘 송파구청장 공천 신청을 하다
올해 4월 : 지방선거와 동시에 치러지는 국회의원 보궐선거 중에서 하남갑 지역구에 공천 신청을 하다
올해 4월 : 대구에 지병으로 고생하시던 아버지가 갑자기 돌아가시다.

I have a peculiar habit: summing up individual digits. On September 8 of last year, as I turned 57, adding 5 and 7 yielded 12—one of my favorite numbers. At that very instant, the resolve to live this 57th year with intense dedication took root, largely driven by how fiercely I resisted the thought of turning 58.
Here begins Donghee Zheng’s condensed diary of this unique 57th year, drawing to its close the day after tomorrow.
- September of Last Year: Finally turned 57.
- October of Last Year: Coinciding with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s itinerary attending meetings in Gyeongju before his return to Australia, Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Attorney-General Michelle Rowland decisively ruled against disbursing the legitimate civil litigation award owed to Donghee Zheng—a recognized public whistleblower and prevailing plaintiff—citing contrived justifications. My fury reached an absolute boiling point.
- December of Last Year: Within the contracted projects secured by the company I then worked for, I successfully delivered a 7-episode short video showcase for a certain defense institution, personally taking on the triple role of screenwriter, video editor, and director. Through this, my comprehensive command of visual media deepened significantly.
- February of This Year: Served as the on-site supervisor for the physical classroom distribution of new semester textbooks across 38 schools in Geumcheon-gu. Working hands-on alongside the crew exposed me viscerally to the stark realities of our educational institutions. With merely two days remaining in my 57th year, I push forward relentlessly to the final hour. In addition to Ddecree.com, having built 12 subsequent digital platforms and culminating today in the launch of The View (theview.kr), I prepare fiercely for the horizon ahead, raising high the banner of perseverance.
